Welcome To My Therapy Practice
Hello. I’m Sam. I am a therapist who works with adults, one to one in person, or online. My training is grounded in the psychodynamic approach, which means I believe therapy is not just about addressing current issues but also about understanding how past experiences may be influencing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours today. By exploring connections between the past and present, we can gain deeper insight and develop more effective ways to approach life’s challenges.
I know life can feel really difficult, especially when it seems like you're facing things alone. Whatever challenges you're dealing with, seeking therapy can be an important step toward understanding and addressing them.
How I Work

Psychodynamic Therapy: I use a psychodynamic approach to therapy, which focuses on exploring unconscious patterns that may be influencing your current thoughts and behaviours. This approach helps uncover deeper emotional issues and provides clarity on how past experiences may be shaping your present.

Collaborative & Empathetic: Therapy is a partnership. I will work with you to understand your concerns and help you develop awareness, coping skills, and a greater sense of self-understanding.

How Therapy Can Help
Talking therapies can be incredibly helpful for a wide range of issues. While there is no "magic wand," speaking to someone impartial someone who isn’t involved in your everyday life can provide support and insight. Therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and emotions, free from judgment.
With empathy and understanding, I work collaboratively with clients to address the challenges they face. Together, we will explore your concerns, build awareness, and develop the necessary tools to help you live a more fulfilling and balanced life.
I offer face-to-face and online therapy sessions, offering flexibility to suit your location and schedule. My therapy room in Woodbridge is a peaceful, private space where you can feel comfortable and supported. I understand that online sessions may be the most convenient option at times, and I am pleased to offer this option.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine belief in the power of therapy. We would work together to explore your experiences, gain insights, and develop the tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
Session Details & Availability

Session Length: 50 minutes, held weekly

Pricing: Sessions start from £50 per session

Location: I hold in-person sessions at a private location just outside of Woodbridge, Suffolk, with on-site parking available. I also offer online sessions for those who cannot attend in person.

Introductory Call: I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call to discuss your needs and explore whether we are a good fit for working together.
